Based on novel by Kaminaga Manabu, has been adapted into manga(status: ongoing), 13 episodes of anime, drama cd, n live action movie. The genre n arts are shoujo, but I don't care as long the main character is a cool handsome bishounen n involving supernatural activities rating (>_<)

Shinrei Tantei Yakumo(Psychic Detective Yakumo in English) tells a story about a college student, Saito Yakumo, a rude, unkempt young man with a red left eye, who is said to have spiritual powers with a special ability to able to see ghosts n spirits. He believes ghosts n spirits are bound to earth because of a certain cause n simply by eliminating that cause will those spirits rest in peace.

The plot beginning with Ozawa Haruka, who trying to help a friend possessed by a spirit. When she meets Yakumo, at first, she is skeptical. But she comes to believe him when he conveys messages from her older sister who died when she was a child. Together, they work to shed light on the terrifying events happening at their university. But this's only the prologue of what's to come...
